The pebble watch and how badly I want it.
The pebble watch managed to get so far more than 10 million dollars in funds, on kickstarted.com
This watch looks so sweet and I can’t wait for it to be out and I can’t wait for me to become a proud owner of that watch!
I love it, simply love it.

Damn you Diablo 3 … no… no damn you, I love you diablo 3
Latest news in the geek world. Instagram, Android, Facebook.
Heh, it’s been a long time since I wrote something that long on tumblr :). So here it goes.
iPhone users went crazy over the fact that Instagram became available for Android, over the last few days.
I won’t go over the moronic comments on twitter from iPhone users against the Android users, but one type of arguement really got my attention.
And that’s is something that went like this*:
omg stupid android users with crappy phones and crappy phone-camera”.
Seriously iPhone users? Android phones with crappy cameras? There are so many comparison articles that put iPhone and Android phones side by side and compare their cameras and their capabilities.
In other words, if you don’t know anything about it, just stop talking.
Because I’m sure all the pictures on Instagram from iPhone users are masterpieces and it’s all thanks to their amazing phone-camera. Not because of a filter that gives the illusion of a masterpiece. (sarcasm for those that didn’t get it)
(To be fair we are talking about the high end phones that are on the same price level as an iPhone, but still last time I checked, that’s not a requirement to take a great picture…)
I won’t go into further details about that “debate”. What happened was simply a disgrace to the human race. But of course, not all iPhone users are like that.
Damn, just by writing about it I feel like I fell down to their level. :/ Shit.
Aaaanyway, so what about the fact that Facebook bought Instagram? Well that’s big news! It’s very obvious (at least to me) that the whole Instagram to Android and then bought by Facebook, was strategically planned.
Will it succeed after all, since so many older Instagram users have been saying that they will cancel their accounts because they don’t want to share their feeds with Android users or because they are afraid of Facebook claiming rights over their pictures now. And instead try to find similar alternative apps to Instagram.
So, it seems risky actually. Granted, the Android users will make it up for the “lost” iPhone users, but still, it sure sounds risky. But I guess we will have to wait and see what are the real plans of Facebook.
*I don’t want to write the original tweet (well I don’t have it actually) but it doesn’t matter because I’m sure many saw similar tweets.
